Dry film coating of resin bonded MoS₂ (moly).
Widely used for pre-treatment of life-time dry lubrication of lightly loaded components such as ball and roller bearings, bearing surfaces in general, chains, gear teeth, slides, tool faces, dies, and moulds where the conditions do not permit the use of fluid or grease lubricating films.
Also employed for pre-treatment of parts for assembly and for running-in purposes, and is commonly used for the treatment of nuts and bolts in anti-seize applications.
