Pack of 6 x 50ml brush on activator for treatment of parts prior to bonding with cyanoacrylate to aid better adhesion on certain plastics.
Permabond Polyolefin Primer has been developed for surface treatment of polyolefins, PTFE and silicones prior to bonding with Permabond Cyanoacrylate adhesives.
Due to their low surface energy, plastics such as PTFE, Polypropylen (PP_, Polyethylene (PE) and Silicones are difficult to bond without special surface treatment.
However, after treatment with Permabond Polyolefin Primer, durable bonds stronger than the substrate material, can be achieved.
POP has passed in vitro cytotoxicity tests making it the ideal companion for Permabond® 4C** medical cyanoacrylates in applications where these difficult to bond materials are used.
