Black frame, green lens, safety spectacle for gas welding and cutting. Wrap-around style. Shade tinted Polycarbonate lens. Conforms to EN166.
Shade 5 refers to the intensity of light radiation that is allowed to pass through a filter lens. Shade 5 is the mid-range filter recommended for gas welding, a little darker than recommended for gas brazing and the highest level for gas cutting.
Shade 5 spectacles are never to be used for electric welding.
