- The Dewalt DWP849X is a variable speed polisher with a variable speed trigger allowing the operator to control the speed of the unit by adjusting the force applied to the switch
- It also has a rubber overmoulded gearcasing. Replaceable wool ingestion shields prevent wool from being sucked into the unit and blocking the tool
- Adjustable D-handle and standard side handle for user comfort

- Large spindle lock makes accessory changing easy
- "Pop off" brushes protect the armature from damage due to worn brushes
- Rubber overmoulded gearcase allows the user to grip the gearcase for greater comfort
