Details
Resin bonded, high pressure resistant, dry film lubricant containing Molybdenum Disulphide.
For metal-to-metal lubrication where a wet film cannot be tolerated.
Once applied, the MoS2 lubricant prevents seizing, fretting, scuffing and reduces friction.
Use for the assembly and running-in of components.
Apply to threaded and close tolerance components to prevent seizing and aide assembly and disassembly.
Particularly effective where high load bearing surface to surface contact is present.
For use in higher load applications where PTFE lubricants would fail, but a dry film is still required.
Applications:
Mounting of longitudinal press fits (e.g. bolts and bearing seats).
Assembly of screws and seals.
Surface treatment of rolling and sliding bearings to improve running-in.
Lubrication of guides and joints.
Bearing lubrication for wheel bearings and kiln carts.
Lubrication of open gears.
Appearance : Thin, opaque black film.
Operating Temp. Range : -150°C to +400°C.
